About TB-500

TB-500 is a synthetic fragment of thymosin beta-4 (Tβ4): the N-acetylated sequence Ac-LKKTETQ, seven amino acids from the actin-binding region of the natural 43-amino-acid peptide. Its molar mass is about 889 g/mol, against 4,963 g/mol for full thymosin beta-4.

Research on this region concerns actin sequestration, cell migration and angiogenesis in cell and animal models.

OXpeptides supplies it as a freeze-dried powder in a sealed glass vial, for in-vitro research only.
